Representation Matters:  Art, Space, and Racial Restitution

This event is being co-sponsored by the Slavery, Race, and Memory and Wake the Arts Event. The virtual panel discussion will occur on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  The panel discussion is related to the exhibition in Hanes Gallery, “Explorations of Self: Black Portraiture from the Cochran Collection.” This panel is a partnership with the Slavery, Race, and Memory Project. The panel will include Omari Simmons, Jame Anderson, Jay Curley, with Corey Walker as moderator.  The event is free and open to the public.
